The WMS Dashboard provides analytics information to help you monitor warehouse operational activities and performance, from inbound and outbound processes to timeliness, volume, and accuracy. Follow the steps below to view WMS analytics. Here is the explanation.

  1. Go to the Dashboard menu.

  2. You can see two analytics options to choose from.

A. Inbound

In the Inbound tab, you will see warehouse and operator filters at the top, which can help you display analytics based on a specific warehouse or operator.

  1. Live operations

Live Operations displays the current status of warehouse activities, such as tasks that have not started, are currently in the receiving or putaway process, or have been completed. You can also view the timeliness of each activity.

You can also generate reports based on a specific period.

  1. Performance
Performance displays the average or median time required for each stage of the inbound process in the warehouse, including the total time to complete the entire process.

You can also generate reports based on a specific period.

  1. Timeliness
Timeliness displays analytics on the timeliness of the inbound process based on the document creation time, estimated arrival, and actual completion time. This allows you to see how early the document was created before the scheduled arrival and whether the inbound process was completed earlier or later than expected.

  2. Volume
Volume displays the number of inbound activities based on the process stage, starting from the total number of inbound activities created and completed to receiving and putaway. At each stage, you can also see the number of documents, the number of unique SKUs, and the total quantity of items, as well as the average ratio of receiving activities to inbound activities and putaway activities..

  3. Accuracy
Accuracy displays the level of conformity between the actual stock received and the planned inbound quantity. You can see the percentage of inbound activities with stock quantities that match the expected amount (Match expected), are lower (Short expected), or are higher (Over expected) than the quantity recorded in the inbound document.

B. Outbound

Similar to the Inbound tab, at the top of the Outbound tab, you will see warehouse and operator filters that can help you display analytics based on a specific warehouse or operator.

  1. Live operations
Live Operations displays the current status of outbound activities, starting from orders that have not been processed, through picking, packing, and shipping, to orders that have been completed. You can also view the timeliness of each process based on the on-time, late, and early statuses, as well as the number of orders that do not yet have any subsequent activity.

You can generate reports based on a specific period.

  2. Performance
Performance displays analytics on the time required to complete each stage of the outbound process, starting from outbound document creation through picking, packing, shipping, and the overall outbound cycle time. You can specify the analysis period through Period, then select Average to view the average process time or Median to view the midpoint of the process time during the selected period.

You can also generate reports based on a specific period.

  3. Timeliness
Timeliness displays analytics on the timeliness of the outbound process based on the document creation time, estimated completion, and actual completion time. This section helps you see how early the outbound document was created before the completion target and whether the process was completed earlier or later than expected, based on the Average and Median values.

  4. Volume
Volume displays the number of outbound activities based on the process stage, starting from the total number of outbound activities created and completed through picking, packing, and shipping. At each stage, you can see the number of documents, the number of unique SKUs, and the total quantity of items, as well as the average ratio of picking, packing, and shipping activities to each outbound activity.

  5. Accuracy
Accuracy displays the level of conformity between the outbound fulfillment process and the planned outbound quantity. You can see the percentage of items that have gone through the picking, packing, and shipping processes compared with the total quantity in the outbound document.

This concludes the explanation of how to view WMS analytics.
