In the WMS feature in Mekari Desty, you can set up the warehouse according to your operational needs using the Warehouse menu found in the WMS (Warehouse Management System) feature. These settings include storage rules, selecting batches and serial numbers for outgoing items, and the barcode format used. Here are the steps.
- Go to the Settings menu.
- Then click the “Warehouse” submenu.
- To change the warehouse’s default settings, click the “Edit” button.
- Toggle Multi-location storage to enable the multi-location feature for the warehouse.
Under Batch selection rules, you can determine the order in which batches will be selected automatically during the outgoing item process. You can choose based on the expiration date (FEFO) or the batch creation date.
Similarly, under Serial number selection rules, you can determine the order in which serial numbers will be selected automatically during the outgoing item process. You can choose based on the serial number or name in ascending or descending order, or based on the serial creation date, starting with the earliest.
- If the settings are correct, click “Save changes”.
