Step 1 - Connect Your Marketplaces
Before connecting marketplaces to Desty Omni, make sure you have access to each Seller Center account you want to connect.
Here are some things you need to prepare:
Make sure you have login access to the marketplace Seller Center account you want to connect.
Make sure the email address and phone number registered to the Seller Center account are still active. Some marketplaces require verification through an OTP code sent by email or SMS during the integration process.
Open the Settings > Store Settings > Add Marketplace menu.
Select the marketplace and store you want to connect, then follow the instructions that appear to complete the integration process. For more information, see the guide here.
You can add up to 150 stores to one Desty account.
Step 2 - Prepare Your Master Products
After successfully connecting the marketplaces, make sure every product across all connected stores has an SKU. SKUs are used as product identifiers to help synchronize inventory between stores.
Here are the steps you need to take:
Make sure every product has an SKU. You need to set the SKU first in each marketplace Seller Center. If you connect five stores, make sure all products in those five stores have SKUs.
Make sure the SKU for the same product is identical in every store. The SKU must be exactly the same, including letters, numbers, and symbols. Even a one-character difference can cause the products to not be recognized as the same product.
Add all products from the marketplaces to Master Products. After all products have the appropriate SKUs, open the Products > Master Products > Add New Product > Add from Marketplace menu.
Repeat this process for every connected store. Make sure all products from every store connected to the Desty account have been added to Master Products so inventory synchronization can work properly.
Product names may differ from store to store. The most important thing is that the SKU for the same product is identical across all stores so Desty can recognize the products as the same product.
Step 3 - Manage Your Inventory
After setting up Master Products, you can start managing product inventory directly through the Desty Omni dashboard. Inventory changes will be automatically synchronized to all marketplace stores connected to that product in Master Products.
Here are several ways you can manage product inventory:
1. Through the Inventory Settings Menu
You can change product inventory directly through the Inventory > Inventory Settings menu. In this menu, you can view a list of all products that have been added to Master Products.
You can change inventory in two ways:
-
Individual inventory changes: Select the product you want to change, then use one of the following methods:
Add: Add inventory to the current inventory quantity.
Min: Reduce inventory from the current inventory quantity.
Set: Set the final inventory quantity according to the number you enter.
Bulk inventory changes: Click Bulk Upload in the upper-right corner, then download the available Excel template. Fill in the template with the inventory data you want to change, then upload it again according to the available instructions.
2. Through the Stock Opname Menu
In addition to Inventory Settings, you can also change inventory through the Inventory > Stock Opname menu.
Its function is the same: to adjust product inventory quantities. The difference is that you need to create a stock opname document first, then select the products whose inventory you want to count or adjust. After the document is created, you can change the inventory in the document, and the inventory on the marketplaces will be updated automatically.
3. Through Purchases from Suppliers
You can also add inventory by purchasing goods from suppliers using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) feature.
Here are the steps:
Open the WMS > Inbound > Purchase Orders menu.
Create a purchase order document by completing the required information, including details of the products purchased from the supplier and the quantity ordered.
After the document is successfully created, process the goods receipt through the document.
After the goods receipt is processed, the product inventory will increase and be synchronized to the marketplace connected to that product in Master Products.
Important
Inventory synchronization depends on the Master Products settings. If one product in Master Products is connected to the same product in multiple marketplace stores, inventory changes will be synchronized to all connected stores.
However, if Master Products has not been configured correctly or the product has not been connected to all stores selling that product, inventory changes will only be applied to stores that are already connected.
Therefore, make sure the product SKUs are correct and all identical products from each store have been properly connected in Master Products so inventory synchronization can work optimally.
Step 4 – Manage Your Orders
After all stores have been successfully connected to Desty Omni, you can manage orders from all stores through the Orders > Manage Orders menu.
In this menu, you can process orders individually or in bulk, up to 1,000 orders at once. Order settings made in Desty Omni will also be automatically synchronized to each marketplace Seller Center.
You can also print shipping labels for processed orders and download a packing list or picking list according to your store’s operational needs.
In addition to order management features, several additional features are available to help with your store’s operations:
Order Matching: Helps ensure that the number of products prepared matches the number of orders, minimizing errors during the packing process.
Package Scanning: Helps scan packages that will be shipped to ensure that the packages are recorded as part of the shipping process.
Both features are optional. To use them, you need to prepare a scanning device (scanner) and make sure every product has the appropriate barcode. For the Order Matching feature specifically, you also need to configure product barcodes in Desty Omni before using it.
